Upcoming Releases – February 2016

We’re already through the first month in 2016! Now it’s February and it’s been a very warm winter here in Burlington. It’s really strange to have all the snow melting on the first day of February, but I don’t mind. Anyway, this month is full of great new releases that I will be playing on Squawkin’ Good Radio in the next couple months and writing more about on this page. We have new albums this month from Captured Tracks favorites DIIV and Wild Nothing, old favorites like Dr. Dog and Animal Collective, and newer artists I’m excited about like Sunflower Bean and Pinkshinyultrablast. Welcome to Squawkin’ Good Tunes! This is a new music blog created & run by McSquawk, host of 90.1 WRUV‘s music show Flight of the Squawkatiel. I’ll be using this blog to share my favorite new musical discoveries and other favorite music, as well as being the official page for my new radio show on WRUV, Squawkin’ Good Radio, which will be on at Flight of the Squawkatiel’s old time slot from 8-10 pm on Wednesdays.

Squawkin’ Good Radio will debut on February 10th from 8-10 pm on WRUV. On February 3rd, I will be hosting a live performance and interview on WRUV from 8-10 pm with Remote Player’s Club, featuring members of State Radio.
